Marble is well known for its many uses today in different applications from buildings to sculptures and monuments. It is created by the combination of multiple carbonate minerals in the earth that allow for this metamorphic rock to be formed from limestone. Marble in Greek is translated as: “Shining Stone” and for this reason it is used in many applications today.
